Local Speaker Series: Haunted Detroit
Presented by local historian and author Mickey Lyons will explore the myths, legends and darker histories of the city of Detroit: Did you know the oldest bar in Detroit is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a Civil War hero? Or that the scene of a grisly 1920s murder inspired spooky stories for decades? This presentation is part ghostly tales, part myth-busting, part history lesson, and a little bit of interactive quiz (with prizes!) thrown in for fun.
